Highlights/Summary
The Army Information Technology E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4),
in conjunction with Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) under
the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), the Army Chief
Information Officer (CIO.G6) and Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has
awarded NCI an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the Information
Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S).
The fundamental purpose of the ITES-2S is to support the Army enterprise infrastructure and
infostructure goals with a full range of innovative, world class information technology support
services and solutions at a reasonable price. It is essential that the ITES-2S solutions enhance
Army Net-operations/Net-centric capabilities and holistically support the Army customers with a
goal of providing a common look and feel for Army applications at all levels of both the strategic
and tactical Army enterprise.
Under the ITES-2S Program, IT solutions will be acquired by issuing individual task orders that
identify specific detailed requirements. This is a decentralized ordering contract that any
government contracts ordering office may use to obtain hardware and services. However, only the
ITEC4 contracts office may change the terms and conditions of the contract.
The ITES-2S program contemplates services based solutions under which contractors may be required
to provide a full range of IT equipment necessary to implement solutions. ITES-2S contractors are
expected to use ITES-2S Enterprise Hardware Solutions (EHS) contractors as preferred sources of supply.
