Government and the ITES-2S program. As a graduate of the 8(a) program, NCI has a strong commitment to helping small businesses succeed.
NCI’s ITES-2S small business leadership and outreach program utilizes small businesses to augment ITES-2S services (market and match)
and meet our small business goals. NCI leadership provides marketing assistance, business pursuit, and proposal development support
to many small businesses. We regularly introduce small businesses to new customers and help them win new programs for a win-win
situation—
Initiating and managing subcontractor commitments are the responsibility of the NCI ITES-2S Program Manager. After a subcontractor has
been selected, the NCI ITES-2S PMO works with the Sub-Contract Manager and small business to prepare a subcontract agreement, to include
a Teaming Agreement (TA), Statement of Work (SOW), applicable standards, and technical/management requirements. During the period of
performance, the subcontract SOW may be updated to reflect additional work, functional areas, and zone applicability.
